Cancelation Policies Catamaya

CANCELLATION FOR BOATS CHARTERS AND CATAMARAN TOURS: * WEATHER : PAYMENTS 

In case of bad weather, you will be advised by our staff in advance the day of your charter at 8:00am when we have the weather report,  in some cases your tour may be canceled by the port or captain due to high winds, rough seas or heavy rain, in this case you may change the date or cancel the tour without penalty. Our Port Captain is the first official authority to make a weather call on safety, if you are safe in view of the Port Captain and then our Captain is who commands on the vessels and also make make a weather call, then the tour is a go. 

In the case of cloudy weather and / or rain there is no reason for cancellation, the tropics has variable weather patterns, it may rain next to you and not on you, or it may rain for two hours and then pass thru. and all cancellations of tours are only decided by our captains and the port caption of the marina. The client agrees to these cancelation terms. The excursions offered depend on natural conditions, so sailing or snorkeling is not are guaranteed in service.

Modifications to your booking:

15 Days prior to your tour we can no longer reduce guests from the booking or modify the tour date -Except in cases of weather movements 

We can add additional people with 5  days advance notice

Less than 3 days we cannot and will not reduce your guest count or add last minute guests from your booking. If you need to add people we can on a case by case basis add up to 5 people, but we cannot always gaurantee the full menu items for them. Please ask as directly.

Any change in dates, destination, or yacht type by the Client is considered a cancellation. If any scheduled payment by the Client has not been received by the payment due date, we reserve the right to cancel the tour and retain all deposits and fees paid to date.

* Cancelations 

The following restrictions apply for CANCELATIONS- DATE CHANGES made by you as a client.
3 days or Less: 30 people or less-  50% of the total will be billed and charged to the client

3 days or less for groups larger than 30 people, a 100% charge will be generated.

15 days to up to 4 days prior to the operation of the service will generate a charge of 50% of the total cost.

Cancellations can be made 30 days before the operation of the service without penalty and will be refunded 

PAYMENTS: 

* We require all group to pay a deposit of 50% to hold the vessel. We modify you group to final count  15 days prior to the tour and your final payment will be due at that time.  Deposit payments are accepted without any fees, final payments can be made via wire transfer, bank transfer, or Cashapp with no fee. Zelle and Venmo 3%, Credit Cards are accepted at a 5% fee. 

PRICE CHANGES: Our prices on un booked items such as extra people, transportation, food upgrades and even boats will change. We will be happy to requote any items not booked in your original booking at the current rate. We will not hold any rate except by express written agreement with our sales manager.

ILLNESS OR INQUIRY:

The client accepts full personal liability for any accident, illness, or inquiry sustained to him/her or any member of the group. releasing Riviera Maya Catamarans from any liability.

TERMINATION OF TOUR:

Our boats do not allow, hookah or any open flame smoking instruments. We do not allow any illegal substances to be consumed, smoked, or ingested while on board. If you disregard any of these policies you forfeit the tour and any refund and will be returned to the dock.

Violence. We have a 100% no violence policy Which includes verbal threats of violence or harm. The safety of our captain, crew, and clients is 100% the most important policy to us. If anyone breaks the policy of violence onboard our vessels we will immediately terminate the tour without notification or consultation and we will return to port where such actions may result in contacting the legal authorities.
