How far is Tulum from my catamaran charter?
These boats are located about 45min hour north from most Tulum locations, based out of Puerto Aventuras Marina the nearest deep water port. The best way to arrive to the marina is by van or bus. The typical charge for a van is about $210 -$250 round trip for us to 12 people. Buses are typically $500 or so round trip but many buses cannot drive down the beach road to meet you.
Puerto Aventuras Weddings
Ok, we maybe a little bias when it comes to Puerto Avenutras and think you have hit the destination wedding catamaran charters jackpot! Definitely not as cool as Tulum, or the same type of nightlife as Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras is a family friendly gated marina community, where people run around on golf carts, go to the farmers market, enjoy outdoor restaurants and a slew of private villas and condo lodging. It has tennis courts, and a 9 hole golf course. It where our office is location and where many of our favorite rentals catamaran companies are.
What’s Puerto Aventuras like?
Puerto Aventuras is a little marina town, with great water activities, and a big friendly expat community. The village is host to some great private wedding villas, of course you can ask us about them as well. Playa del Carmen Weddings
Private group charters from Playa del Carmen and south your home port is Puerto Avenuturas. For your wedding group charter tour this amazing, close by and fun! The transfer time to the marina of Puerto Aventuras is about 30 minutes depending on your location. We will give you 45 min to and hour to arrive check in and sail off. Not only is it a beautiful location, the town is full of restaurants, shopping, and great nightlife.

This zone is definitely a get away from it all location. Different Types of Wedding Group Charters
Day Sailing Charters
We offer morning private event charters. The hours typically are 9am to 1pm . Gather your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and all your family allow them to snorkel, sunbath, sail, and experience the beauty of the Riviera Maya Coastline during their stay.
These tours will include snorkeling, open bar, snacks or lunch . They are a great way to thank you wedding guests and give them amazing memories of your wedding. This is generally a fun non formal events.
Afternoon Sailing & Sunset Charters
The afternoon catamaran charter times can be flexible with approximate hours of 2pm to 6pm or 3pm to 7pm. This can be less or more formal depending on your wedding group or specific style for the event.
These four hour charters, generally include snorkeling, open bar and since dinner time is after this, you have the choice to include appetizers or not.
Why are afternoon sailing charters great?
This is a great way to save money and provide an awesome experience for your guests. If you want to go the other direction and provide a more formal experience such as a buffet style meal aboard, just ask us. We can provide options for your group as well.
Sunset Catamaran Charters
For an even more formal event your can choose to invite your guests to savor sunset and cocktails while sailing the Caribbean. We have a variety of boat charters available for just sunset tours. If two hours is not enough we do have 3 hour options aboard most of our catamarans.
