A one of a kind, amazing and hip selection and one of the most popular destinations to get married in Mexico. If this is your wedding and party location, then you will select from one of these boats for your private cruise, Puerto Aventuras Catamarans.
These boats are located about 45 minutes north of most Tulum locations, based out of Puerto Aventuras Marina, the nearest deep-water port. The best way to arrive at the marina is by van or bus. The typical charge for a van is about $210 -$250 round-trip for up to 12 people. Buses are typically $500 round-trip, but many buses cannot drive down the beach road to meet you.
Ok, we may be a little biased when it comes to Puerto Aventuras and think you have hit the destination wedding catamaran charters jackpot! Not as cool as Tulum, or the same type of nightlife as Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras is a family-friendly gated marina community, where people run around on golf carts, go to the farmers market, enjoy outdoor restaurants, and a slew of private villas and condo lodging. It has tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course. It’s where our office is located and where many of our favorite catamaran rental companies are.
Puerto Aventuras is a little marina town, with great water activities, and a big friendly expat community. The village is host to some great private wedding villas, of course, you can ask us about them as well. Most of our wedding groups walk to their catamaran charters or take a 5-minute van ride for $5.00 per person round trip. Private group charters from Playa del Carmen and south, your home port is Puerto Aventuras. For your wedding group charter tour is amazing, close by, and fun! The transfer time to the marina of Puerto Aventuras is about 30 minutes, depending on your location. We will give you 45 minutes to an hour to arrive, check in, and sail off. Check out all your boat selections for your group’s Puerto Aventuras Catamarans. Playa del Carmen is another wonderful destination wedding event. Not only is it a beautiful location, but the town is full of restaurants, shopping, and great nightlife.
Some of my favorite private wedding villas and Riviera Maya destination wedding hotel locations are to the north of Playa Del Carmen. This are has large beaches, that still look a bit wild. This zone is definitely a get away from it all location. The town of Puerto Morelos itself is a sleepy Mexican fishing village in comparison to its neighbors. Still, it has one of our favorite destination wedding catamaran charters.

We offer morning private event charters. The hours are typically 9 am to 1 pm. Gather your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and all your family, allow them to snorkel, sunbathe, sail, and experience the beauty of the Riviera Maya Coastline during their stay.
These tours will include snorkeling, open bar, snacks, or lunch. They are a great way to thank your wedding guests and give them amazing memories of your wedding. This is generally a fun non-formal event.
The afternoon catamaran charter times can be flexible, with approximate hours of 2 pm to 6 pm or 3 pm to 7 pm. This can be less or more formal depending on your wedding group or specific style for the event.
These four-hour charters generally include snorkeling, open bar, and since dinner time is after this, you have the choice to include appetizers or not.
This is a great way to save money and provide an awesome experience for your guests. If you want to go the other direction and provide a more formal experience, such as a buffet-style meal aboard, just ask us. We can provide options for your group as well.
For an even more formal event, you can choose to invite your guests to savor sunset and cocktails while sailing the Caribbean. We have a variety of boat charters available for just sunset tours. If two hours is not enough, we do have 3-hour options aboard most of our catamarans.
